1. Who we are

Khoobsurati (parlour.wtf) is an independent, one-person hobby project — a 90s Bollywood internet radio built to feel like a neighbourhood ladies' parlour. It isn't a company. Questions about this policy can go to akashkinkarpandey@gmail.com.

2. What Khoobsurati does

The site plays a curated, looping playlist of 90s Bollywood songs in your browser, and links out to the same playlist on Spotify and YouTube Music. No account or sign-up exists or is ever required.

3. Information we collect

What we don't collect

• No accounts, no passwords, no user profiles
• No payment information — nothing is for sale
• No contact lists, address books, or precise location
• No forms that collect personal data (the Contact page is a plain email link, not a form)

The "online now" counter

While the page is open, your browser generates a random, disposable session ID — not tied to your identity in any way — and pings our server every few seconds so the page can show roughly how many people are listening right now. That ID is held only in memory on Cloudflare's edge (no separate database, no third party involved) and is discarded within under a minute of your last ping. It's never linked to who you are, never used for anything beyond the live count, and isn't shared with anyone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and roughly where from. It collects page views, approximate location (city/region level, derived from IP address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you — never your name, email, or anything that identifies you individually.

4. How we use this information

Solely to (a) keep the shared "listening room" counter running, and (b) understand, in aggregate, whether the station is worth keeping running. We don't sell data, run ads, or share anything with data brokers — there's nothing to sell in the first place.

5. Cookies

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. We don't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, since the only tracking on the site is the aggregate analytics above.

• "Online now" session IDs — held in memory only, auto-discarded within under a minute of inactivity; never written to disk
• Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics' standard aggregate-data window
• Server logs — we don't keep our own; Cloudflare's standard operational logs apply per their policy above

8. Your rights

Because Khoobsurati doesn't hold a personal profile tied to you, there is usually nothing on file to access, correct, or delete beyond your analytics footprint. If you're in the EEA/UK, you have rights under GDPR (access, erasure, objection, and more); if you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA (know, delete, opt out of sale — and to be clear, we do not sell personal information). To exercise any of these, email akashkinkarpandey@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

9. International transfers

The site runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, so requests may be processed in different countries as part of normal internet routing.

10. Children

Khoobsurati isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

11. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with strict security headers (a locked-down Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, and related protections). Since there are no accounts, there are no passwords or credentials to leak.
